Animal Farm – It’s a Fable. Why?

A fable is a story with a moral. This story is supposed to have a moral. What is it?

I think the moral of this story is to never think you are better than everyone else. Also that when you give power to people it corrupts them into thinking they are all mighty.

I agree with Danielle that if you think that you’re the best its gonna come right back at ya but in a bad way or at least I think that

The moral to this story is power has it’s limit before the leader is corrupt. in this case everything was great and then things took a downfall when there was a power disagreement Napoleon got rid of his competition and then ran things his way. the farm took a downfall and all the rules got changed. the leader only cares about himself.

I believe that the moral of this story all leads back to the golden rule. “Treat others as you want to be treated.” If people get too much power they begin to treat people badly, eventhough they know how ti feels. They do not realize it while they are doing it until a life changing thing happens to make them see it.

The moral of the story is to be on your own is not always better. When the animals first took over the farm they thought they had it really good, but when the winter came they did not have it as good because they were low on food, cold, and needed parts for the windmill.
