I think you guys might have missed the mark on this one. Maybe. There are a lot of rumors spread on the farm to spread the propaganda. What were some of them?
Propaganda is best spread through rumors.

Well, basically everything Squealer says is a lie or propaganda. He says things about how Napoleon is looking out for their best intrests and how he is so caring. This makes the other animals look to Napoleon as an idol/leader, which is definatly not what he should be. Squealer also says things about Snowball, calling him a criminal and such. This makes them look to Napoleon as even more of a leader since they no longer can trust Snowball.

When Snowball left, Squealer started rumors that Snowball wasn’t a hero in the Battle of the Cowshed. As the book went on, Squealer kept making Snowball seem worse and worse in the battle. Squealer said that Snowball was even on Jones’s side during the whole battle and yelled “Long Live Humanity” and was blatantly on man’s side. Also Squealer said that Napoleon was the reason that the animals won the battle and was an amazing war hero. These were all rumors and propaganda to make Snowball seem like an enemy and Napoleon seem great.

Everything that Squealer tells the animals in his speeches is bascially propaganda. He is tryin to make the animals think that Napoleon is doing good for the animals when in reality he’s only doing good for himself. Squealer tells them that Snowball demolished the windmill the first time. He is saying that Snowball was on Jones side in the battle of cowshed and that the blood on his back was from Napoleons teeth. He is making it seem that they don’t have enough food to feed the animals so their food rations are reduced when really the pigs are eating the majority of it. Squealer, at night, is changing the commandments on the barn and eventually only has one. The propaganda in this book goes on and on!

Everything that Napoleon made sqealer say is propaganda. When he goes out and tells all the other animals that Snowball is bad and that it was Napoleon’s idea about the windmill and that everyone should be on Napoleon’s side and that Snowball should just leave the farm.

At the very beginning when milk and apples were given to the pigs and Squealer said that it was good for them was propaganda, because he convinced them that it was for protecting the animals, so Jones will not came back. Napoleon and Snowball didn’t use propaganda, except if you condsidered the part when Napoleon have the dogs with him. Squealer had most of the propaganda everywhere when he was speaking and talking to the animals in the beginning, middle, and at the ends. He always said that Napoleon did everything to keep them free and living well.
