I think the ending leaves you with some taughts about this type of gov’t. This really happened in the real world, or parts of it. I didn’t think this would happen in the end. I taught it would end well. They would all live happy and the young ones would take over and it would just go in a circle like that.

OK… the end of the book… in short… I HATED IT!!!! with all the fiber of all my being. I was hoping that snowball would come back with a vengence and kick some tail. that sucks that boxer dies. and earlyer how they sloghtered all of them other animals. dont get me wrong i like gore and stuff like that as much as the next guy but in this book, i didnt like that. but it just ended so blackly. but when the people where playing cards i think that one of the guys should of shot the pig. but thats just me. i wanted so much to see napolion die!!!

The ending of the book was as I had predicted it to be. I know that it is very hard to have everyone be equal, because not every one is equal in everything. I thought that the pigs would dictate in the end because of their attitude in the beginning. If their attitudes were squashed from the start, then it would have been some other animal learning to dictate. Boxers death was cold and cruel. He was the most loyal animial to Napoleon, and Napoleon had NO right whatsoever to betray his most devoted follower like that, selling him off to a glue factory. That’s heartless.

I thought the ending was okay. I just wish it would have ended better like the animals got their revenge on Napoleon. However, it was a good ending because it showed that everything went back to how it was in the beginning. The pigs were just like the men and wanted everything they wanted as well.

I thought the ending was terrible. Infact, I thought the whole book was terrible, but that’s beside the point. I wasn’t too surprised that it ended like that, but still, it could have been a lot better. Like Snowball coming back with an army of animals to over-throw Napoleon. I could have written a better ending!! We all knew Napoleon was going all Stalin like and that he wasn’t in favor of any animals except for the pigs and dogs. The fact that Boxer died, and how he died, that was just depressing.

The ending was pretty much how I thought it was going to be since this was based on a true event and there really are no happying endings in our history books. The ending was good because it showed us how no matter what we try us humans are naturally going to form a leader and inflict the problems we have on ourselves. The ending that I was hoping for was like Snowball to comeback and make the farm all good again and all of the animals happy again. I also thought that the book was going to end with Napoleon and the pigs acting like humans because all through the story there are small parts that show the small changes they keep making that are more human like.

I thought that the end of the book was alrite. It wasn’t really bad and it wasn’t really bad. I thought that Snowball would come back and just take the farm over again. I don’t think I would have ever thought that Boxer would have died.

The end made since in it’s own way. But I didn’t care for it. I didn’t even really like the book too much. Yeah, it was non-believable, but it still wasn’t that good. Nothing I would myself. But the ending was ok. It would have been better if they would have killed Napoleon off. Or have Snowball come back.

I didn’t really like the ending at all. I thought that the animals would start to rebel against the pigs. So really in the end the animlas didn’t do anything. Then I realized that this book is really based on real history and this is probably what happened. I was sort of thinking that Snowball might come back, but even if he did, the animals would kill him for sure.

well it was ok not how i expected it to be. I thought it might end in the collapse of the farm. and jones would take over again. well otherwise it wasn’t that that great i wanted more

I really didn’t think the ending was all that great. Actually, I found it kind of dumb. It was just basically the pigs {and dogs} having rule over all of the other animals. You would of thought maybe a couple would rebel, or maybe Snowball would come back to help the other animals get out of the ruling of Napoleon. I wasn’t really suprised by the ending, but it just wasn’t a good way to end the book.

The end of the book wasnt at all what i expected it to be, it was kind of dumb how the pigs took control. I think that the other animals should have done something, anything, about the pigs. Im not a big book reader but this is one of those books that i wouldnt refer to anyone else. But i guess that if its historically acurate then thats basically the story of what happen in Russia. someone takes over and no one does anything about it out of fear……or wuteva it was.

I thought the end of the book would have been a better ending because what i expected was the total opposite ..i actually didnt like how it ended because it kind of turned it into a last minute twist by having the pigs rule them.. i also thought that snowball would have came back to help but if he did they would like kill him & everything else..so thats what i think about this situation.

I thought the ending would be better than just coming to a hault. I thought the farm would finally fail and it would become abandoned or the animals would want it the way they had life in the very begining.

at the end i think that the pigs went to far, and went into a state that they didnt want to be in in the first place. Napoleon was a dictator, and should have treated his animals better, so they would have done better jobs, and chores. i also think that the animals who were working should have went against Naploeon, and over ruled him.

I thought the ending of the book was pretty good. The book did not end the way I thought it would. I thought the animals would eventually turn against eachother and the farm would not go over. I also thought that some men would come and take the farm over. The last thing that I expected to happen was for the humans and the animals to come to an agreement and work together, but overall the ending was good.

I thought the ending of the book sucked. Not to offend any one, but I wanted to see Snowball come back, and when I was on the last page and he didn’t, I was a little disappointed. I also thought the part about boxer getting sent away to the “vet” was cruel to write in a book. I was glad to see, though, that the animals kept control of the farm, and didn’t have to have a human to come back and take control. I didn’t like to see that Napoleon stayed in control though.

  • 18    Tyler V. // Mar 16, 2006 at 2:02 pm

I thought that Snowball would come back, and the other animals would over take Napoleon. I though the ended sucked, I wanted the animals to take out the pigs.

  • 19    Phil R. // Mar 21, 2006 at 9:41 am

I think the ending was kind of sad but otherwise good. The last statement was really good. It was very true as to what happened in real life, just like the entire book.

  • 20    Megan // Mar 29, 2006 at 7:48 pm

Wow… umm i figured it was going to happend sumthing like that that the pigs would be jsut as bad as the humans but i did not know for sure that they would be come friends with them and work with them. The ending kindof sucked because u felt bad for all the animals that worked so hard to be free but then ended up just being back to were they were if not worse
