How is the theme “power corrupts” evident in the privileges gained by the pigs?

This theme fits well. When the pigs realized that the power was easy to gain fromt the rest of the animals they used it too much and it is now starting to corrupt the farm. All these rules are being made to benefit the pigs. The pigs run the show and are not affraid to force the other animals to follow them. I think that their power had corrupted and it needs to be solved by makeing all the animals equal again.

I think that this is a good theme for the book, because the pigs and dogs used their knowledge to get what they wanted and trick the animals. They began changing the rules and ended up right back where they started, because they acted just like the humans did before they were forced out of manor farm. The pigs thought that they were the best and smartest, so they should be the ones to rule the farm. They auotomatically thought that they could rule over everyone else.

The theme power corrupts goes hand in hand with this story, because this story illistrates the theme by showing how having power over peole can corrupt a person or “pig.” Napoleon gets “corrupted” when he gets too much power.

This does go with the story because the pigs have all this power that they take advantage of and it corrupts everyones rights as animals and they end up turning into humans themselves.

They have power so they can give themselves more priveleges, and every time they get away with one thing, they think of something else to try and increase their power and have more priveleges, just like in real life people do.

because the more power the pigs got the more like mr. jones the pigs became, they didnt really stay with all animals are equal because they they would not have as much power, so with the greed of power they lost what they were really trying to gain in the first place
